by Eduardo RivadaviaToo Pure to Die is a post-hardcore quintet comprised of Des Moines, IA, residents Paul Zurio (vocals), Jordan Peterson (guitar), Zach Johnson (guitar), Chris Towning (bass), and Kyle Rossi (drums). After recording their debut album with another vocalist in 2006, the group was signed by Trustkill Records, which had them re-record the CD with Zurio for re-release in the fall of 2007.
