by Jason BirchmeierOne of the Swedish label Dots leading artists, Quant released a few neo-electro EPs for the quirky label in the late 90s, in addition to several compilation contributions as well as remixes. Producer Jonas Quants debut release, the self-titled Quant EP, came in February 1997 (Dot 1203), followed shortly after by the Breaking & Entering EP (Dot 1207), released that November. Quants third EP, Tik Tok (Dot 1210), didnt appear until May 2000, a few years later. During the interim period, Quant remixed a few tracks, the most noteworthy being Toscas (Richard Dorfmeister and Rupert Huber) Chocolate Elvis and Coldcuts Timber.
