by John BushYet another pseudonym for the work of Taylor Deupree (aka Taylor 808) and Savvas Ysatis (aka Omicron) — that is, besides S.E.T.I.. and Arc — Futique make the alias rather necessary, since the duos material is surprisingly different from their usual glut of sparse ambience. Hip-hop beatboxes and Crooklyn dub make appearances alongside the jazzy rhythms on Futiques debut, Luv Luv (recorded, as always, for the Instinct label). Mr. So & So followed in 1996, and Go Low appeared three years later.
