by Andrew HamiltonBorn on the beautiful Carribean island on Dominica in 1943, Alton moved to England in 1961 and formed the Entertainers, a five-piece calypso band. They recorded their first record in 1971, from conception the band worked steadily and never bothered with making records. Carnival Night was their first single, it and successors did all right, but the band wasnt lighting up the charts so in 1973 they recorded Kung Fu International for Tackle Records as Roy & the Challengers.
