艺人介绍

by Carol WrightKutira Decosterd is the founder of the Kahua Institute, an internationally acknowledged Tantra yoga teacher, and creator of Oceanic Tantra. With her husband, New Age composer Raphael, she synthesizes the arts of music, psychology, and marine ecology in her teachings, which combine the ancient practices of energy-raising, meditation, and sexual ecstasy with a planetary vision and dolphin consciousness. The Kahua Institute of Oceanic Tantra is located on the island of Maui.

Kutira, as she is known, was born and raised in Switzerland, but lived for two years in India, where she studied with Tantric masters. She also has a strong background in meditation, breath work, Neuro-Linguistic Programming, Bioenergetics, Gestalt, movement therapy, communication work, sex therapy, and massage. Her dozen years living in Hawaii have brought her close to the island's spiritual teachings; she has studied Hawaiian chant, dance, and art with Kumuhula Aulii Mitchell. Kutira dances under her Hawaiian name, Keolaokahaapauloa (life giving breath of eternity.)

Kutira sings and performs on the didgeridoo (which she learned in Australia) with Raphael on several of their Kuhau Records releases. Her 1990 shamanic album, Into the Dreamtime, also features the vocalist Sophia, Raphael, and the songs of the whales. The Calling features Hawaiian chants, a message from dolphin researcher John Lilly, and again, the songs of the whales in duet with the didigeridoo. All of Kutira's albums offer spiritually sensual sounds; her two Tantric Wave albums are specifically designed to enhance Tantric spiritual lovemaking.
