Alex clare，原名Alexander George Clare，出生于1985年9月14日，是一位来自英国伦敦的创作型歌手，新单曲《Too close》在英国UK音乐榜上表现不俗。此曲作为IE9的广告歌广为人知。首张专辑在2011年7月11日在英国发行。 英国歌手Alex Clare的单曲"Too Close"被用在了很多IE9浏览器的广告中[1]。虽然Alex Clare在主流乐坛显得名不见经传，但其实他曾经和Amy Winehouse交往过一年的时间。
Alexander George Claire better known as Alex Clare (born 14 September 1985) is a British singer-songwriter. Clare adopted his current stage name, Alex Clare, in 2010, replacing Alexander G. Muertos, a pseudonym he first used whilst still at school. His debut album, The Lateness of the Hour, was released in the UK on 11 July 2011 on Island Records and was produced by Mike Spencer and Major Lazer.
The biggest hit from the album, "Too Close", peaked at number 4 on the UK Singles Chart and number 7 on the US Billboard Hot 100. The song was nominated for the Brit Award for Best British Single at the 2013 BRIT Awards.
