Spanish César Berlanga began studying music at the age of 11 at Madrid's Music Conservatory. He became an instrumentalist when he was a teenager, playing electric guitar and forming his own bands. In 1973, the musician recorded for the first time while participating in a band called Conexión, releasing Movie in Clouds. In 1974, the talented guitarist had the opportunity to play in the Spanish version of Jesus Christ Superstar, led by singers Camilo Sesto and Angela Carrasco. In 1977, after joining a project called Dolores, César Berlanga played on La Niña De Los Montoya, which was issued by PolyGram a year later, teaming up with singer/songwriter Miguel Rios. In 1992, the guitarist/composer made his first solo album called Retorno A La Fantasía, which was released by Música Sin Fin. 1996's Corazón Español, issued in the U.S. by the Relaxation Company, and 1999's Mediterranean Dreams followed.
