Making a name for himself with his first hit single, "Ay Que to Quiere," better known as "La Cola de Motora," Don Miguelo won the attention of reggaeton fans and the industry alike. Like most hitmakers in the style, Miguelo was a newcomer, a novice when he hit pay dirt with a popular single and a record deal. Miguelo's first release, Contra el Tiempo features guest spots from fellow Dominican recording artists as Monchy & Alexandra, Rafy Mercenario, and Frank Reyes. In hopes to improve staying power, Miguelo relocated in the U.S.
