Hexenmeister means &Master of Witches&. Not Satan, not warlock, not medieval inquisitor anyway.

The band took part in tribute to Ved Buens Ende &Old Crown, New Spawn (Tristis chapter)& released

in 2009 by Aspherical Asphyxia Productions, covering the song &Autumn Leaves&.

The path was dim and no one remembers how it all begin in 2004.

However, songs written and recorded earlier than 2008 remains only in recollections, so now it's completely new band.

In February 2008 — during 3 nights recorded promo demo which contains 3 songs in pure Depressive Black Metal vein.

In 2009 the band took part in &Old Crown, New Spawn (Tristis chapter - a Tribute to Ved Buens Ende) by Aspherical Asphyxia Productions, covering the song &Autumn Leaves& and adding an original song.

Split with Bergrizen called &Complaint of Dying years& released in April 2010 with 3 songs from demo 2008 on it. This release will be available for free download as soon as it can be. See blog for details.

Through the time, shady forest, autumn insomnia, raven's claws and eternal twilights, Hexenmeister evolved into Melancholic Black Metal with Post Punk influence.

First album was recorded during February 2009 - February 2010 and now almost finished. It will be released by ARX productions at the end of spring 2010.
