Holland's Inhume formed in 1994, their mission: to create a singularly vile and inaccessible form of gory grindcore in the image of gross-out supremos Carcass and Autopsy. Characterized by an ever-shifting lineup not dissimilar from their disgustingly mushy, oft-fast-decaying subject matter, Inhume members including (but not limited to) vocalist Joost, guitarists Harold and Loek, bassist Ben, and drummer Roel collaborated on two demos and a split release with countrymen Suppository before committing their first album to tape, that being 2000's Decomposing From Inside. Several compilation appearances followed and, after signing with France's Osmose Productions, Inhume recorded and released their second album, In for the Kill, in 2003.
