Rapper Sauce Money emerged from Brooklyn's Marcy Projects as a member of Jay-Z's Roc-A-Fella clique, making a number of appearances on soundtracks and mix tapes (as well as scoring a writing Grammy for his work on Puff Daddy's blockbuster "I'll Be Missing You") before issuing his solo debut, Middle Finger U, on MCA in 2000.
