A group formed in the off time (that is to say, hiatus) for the band Days Away, Good Old War -- named from a selection of "parts" of its members' names -- were begun by Days Away's Keith Goodwin and Tim Arnold. Joined by Daniel Schwartz of Unlikely Cowboy, Good Old War began recording their debut album in Los Angeles in 2008, with hopes of a release on Sargent House later in the fall. The band was also in the planning stages of an American tour to promote the record.
