Jeff Griffith's early musical influences set him on a path that has led him from the small town of Santa Fe, Texas to the honky-tonk stages in and around San Antonio and Houston. He credits the soul of George Jones and Vern Gosdin, the rowdiness of Hank Williams, Jr., and the lonesome bluegrass sound of Ricky Skaggs as being instrumental in developing his style of country music. Jeff was born in the southeastern area of Texas to talented parents who came nom generations of music. By age 7, Jeff had convinced his parents to buy him a guitar so he could join in with the big family musical gatherings. They were amazed at his love for "their music" - country. By age 15, Jeff was packing the local clubs with his distinctive country style that belied his young age. While Jeff has been honing his musical talents, he also kept his personal life growing by marrying his childhood sweetheart and starting a family. He has also developed a very successful construction business in San Antonio, and it is through this business that he met Charlie Patterson, who is now his manager. Charlie was so impressed with Jeff's great country sound that he decided to contact his friend, country legend Joe Stampley. Joe invited Charlie and Jeff to come to Nashville for a visit. Joe was so knocked out with Jeffs believable country voice that he immediately set up recording sessions for him. These sessions resulted in a great country album that shows Jeff Griffith is the real deal in country music.
