JUNO Award and CCMA Award nominated artist Tareya is a singer/songwriter and balladeer from Calgary, Alberta. Her debut solo album "Stained Glass Heart" blurs the lines between country, pop, and R&B and is available now.
In the year 2010, it was a providential visit to her YouTube channel by a record label exec that landed her first record deal as one-half of the popular duo Autumn Hill. The duo’s debut single “Anything At All” shot into the Top 10 on the Billboard Canada Country chart and landed in the Top 30s on the Billboard AC and Hot AC charts, making Autumn Hill the first Canadian country act to successfully cross over to pop radio since Shania Twain.
Autumn Hill’s first full length album, “Favourite Mistake” (2013), was followed by the sophomore album, “Anchor,” (2015) and produced multiple chart-topping hits such as “Can’t Keep Waiting,” “Fire,” and “Mixtape.” “Blame” climbed to #4 in just a few weeks from its release. In addition to the two albums, came the single “It Ain’t Christmas” which rose to #3 on the Adult Contemporary charts.
In just a few years, Tareya has won a lot of recognition from the Canadian music industry with multiple JUNO and CCMA award nominations and performances, including JUNO nomination for Breakthrough Artist of the Year and Best Country Album of the Year, a CCMA nomination for Rising Star, and two nominations for Group or Duo of the Year, as well as headlining performances at the 2014 and 2015 CCMA Awards.
