He plays his highly-individual slide-guitar stylings in jazz, blues, rock, funk, and avant garde settings often producing exciting and original sounds. Musician Magazine has ranked David Tronzo, who often goes by Tronzo, as one of the top 100 guitarists of all time. He has released several sessions as a leader, is a member of Knitting Factory super-group Spanish Fly, and he continues to be in demand as a session player.
