艺人介绍

生于洛杉矶，是具有法国、俄国及荷兰血统的混血儿。毕业于纽约大学艺术系，亦曾投师名剧作家大卫马密门下学习戏剧表演。1986年以在《红粉佳人》中饰演一个小角色而进入影坛，之后每年都出演有影片或电视影片，但无特出成绩。经过10年奋斗之后，1995年终于以《美国舞娘》一片成名。近作为2001年的《生死极速》（极速竞赛）。

An actress known for her roles in such films as Bound and Showgirls, Gina Gershon is also a singer/songwriter with a longtime connection to musical performance. Born in Los Angeles, CA, in 1962, Gershon acted from a young age and ultimately attended both Emerson College in Boston and later N.Y.U. Although she technically studied philosophy and psychology, Gershon immersed herself in the theater scene and eventually began landing film and stage roles. Prior to her recording career, Gershon appeared in a 1998 Broadway revival of Cabaret. Consequently, she nabbed a role in the 2003 film Prey for Rock & Roll about a fictional all-female rock band. Gershon had to play guitar and sing for the film and even toured with the rock band Girls Against Boys to promote the project. The tour was also the subject of the 2004 IFC ary series Rocked. Subsequently, Gershon continued to play and perform music and in 2007 released her cabaret- and indie rock-influenced debut album, In Search of Cleo.
