by Kenyon HopkinFinding their place between pop/rock and punk-pop, North Carolina band Yearling feature guitarist/vocalist Sid Menon (also of metal outfit Glass Casket), guitarist George Hage, bassist Tony Collins, and drummer Michael Schroeder. Channeling their love for Weezer and Jimmy Eat World, the debut album The View from Here appeared in May 2007 through Tragic Hero Records. Yearling have shared stages with Cartel and A Static Lullaby.
