Formed in 1999, Shadowkeep recorded their first demo three weeks later. At the time, their lineup consisted of Rogue M., Nicki Robson, and Chris Allen. James Daley and Dave Edwards joined the group shortly after that. The group signed to German label Limb in the year 2000. September of that year saw the release of their album, "Corruption Within."
