Keyboardist and composer Steve Haun became a celebrity in his native Boulder, CO after a Denver television station broadcast a feature on his aspiring music career; the exposure brought him to the attention of local outlets who soon began licensing his work for use in commercials, some of them airing nationally. Haun next began composing material for use in conjunction with the annual Bolder Boulder 10K marathon, followed by compositions for a variety of sports programs including NBC's coverage of the NFL and college football, the NBA, Wimbledon and the Olympic Games. Haun's music for the 1996 Summer Olympics also comprised much of Glory Bound, his debut recording for the Gallery label.by Jason Ankeny
