艺人介绍

原名Bent Fabricius-Bjerre，1924年12月7日生于哥本哈根。

主要从事的是爵士钢琴，Bent Fabric是为了迎合US市场而起的艺名。在这里顺便提一下他的母亲，现在尚在并且已经104岁。

他于1950年创立了自己的唱片公司，直到8年前将唱片公司卖掉为止一直是该公司的老板。

1962年发表的ALLEY CAT打入Billboard第7位，并凭借此曲获得了当年的格莱美奖。

1963年发表了”CHICKEN FEED”(63位)。

此后，他一直活跃于丹麦王室剧院，主要从事芭蕾，电视，歌曲等，并一直担当丹麦有名的超市IRMA的音乐创作。

Although pianist Bent Fabric (born Bent Fabricius-Bjerre) formed his own jazz combo after WWII and his own label (Metronome) in 1950, it wasn't until 1961, when Fabric's Alley Cat single hit his native Denmark's airwaves, that he really became known in the music world. The song proved infectious, and was released worldwide in 1962, even garnering an American Grammy Award for Best Rock & Roll Record. Though Atlantic issued some more of his work in the years that followed, Fabric never had another hit like "Alley Cat." In 2006, however, the Dane received a bit of attention again after Jukebox
