The School Gyrls not only looks the part of sweet high school students, they actually are: composed of Mandy Rain (15), Jacque Rae Pyles, pronounced “Jackie,” (15) and Monica Parales (16). These three pint-sized pop stars pack major charisma and talent into an adorable adolescent package.

Signed to Nick Cannon’s NCredible Entertainment, Cannon was first introduced to Mandy Rain on the set of Star Camp, the reality show produced by Cannon for Nickelodeon, where she served as the youngest member of the Star Camp group “The Giggle Club.” So impressed with her dancing and singing ability after Star Camp and stumbled upon the unbelievable talents of two local Southern California girls: Jacque and Monica. The three girls immediately hit it off vocally and on the dance floor.

The group officially formed in November 2008 and have been hard at work ever since. They made their television debut as the School Gyrls with Nick Cannon on the season finale of E! TV Show “Party Monsters” in Cabo San Lucas in January 2009 and have since been busy recording their debut album which will be released under the Island Def Jam imprint in 2010. A self titled, full length feature film written and directed by Cannon recently wrapped also which centers entirely around the three teen stars and features cameos from Reverend Run, Justin Bieber, Kristinia DeBarge, Soulja Boy, Angie Stone, Pete Wentz and others. The School Gyrls movie is slated to air on TeenNick/Nickelodeon in Spring 2010.

Though barely old enough to drive, these young ladies are seasoned professionals, with over twenty years of acting, singing and dancing experience combined. All professionally trained “triple threats”, they have each appeared in countless print and TV ad-campaigns, music videos and performed as dancers for a variety of live stage shows; but at the heart of all of it, they are still sassy teenage girls who share a love for shopping, fashion and roller coasters.

Born Amanda Moseley on December 20th in Hollywood, Florida, Mandy Rain began dancing and singing at three years old to her favorite artists at the time - Britney Spears and NSync. At the age of seven, Mandy had the opportunity to attend the NSync concert and meet the band, where she told Justin Timberlake “I’m gonna be on that stage out there one day too!”

Mandy moved to L.A. with her family the following year where she immediately began training in jazz and hip hop and working with choreographers JJ Valez, Brooklyn, Dave Moore, Shane Sparks, Tiffany Burton and Brian Drake to name a few. She also began training as vocalist and artist while landing roles in a TiVo commercial, independent films, in promos for the WB Kids block and as a dancer on a Josh Duhamel-produced TV pilot. Mandy has also appeared as herself on CBS’s Dance Revolution as well as on MTV’s My Super Sweet 16.

Mandy Rain’s stage name was given to her by Nick Cannon during the filming of Star Camp, a docu-series produced by Cannon for Nickelodeon. Mandy was the youngest member of the Star Camp group ‘The Giggle Club’. Cannon was so impressed with Mandy Rain’s talent that he and Ray Brown thought she would be perfect for an all girl pop group that they were developing called School Gyrls (Island Records).

Through School Gyrls, Mandy has had the opportunity to work hand in hand with Cannon whom she looks to as a role model and mentor; as well as Mariah Carey, whom she sites as one of her biggest inspirations.

Mandy formerly performed and competed as a dancer and a vocalist with the L.A. Hip Kids company, performing at sporting events and in venues such as Disneyland, Universal Citywalk and Knotts Berry Farm. She’s currently learning how to play the guitar so she can begin composing her own music.

Known for her diva fashion sense, Mandy loves shopping and knowing that as an artist she is a trend-setter and can influence people positively and lives by the mantra “Don’t follow the trends, set them."

Jacquelyn Rae Pyles, aka Jacque (pronounced Jackie) Nimble is one third of the teen girl group School Gyrls (Island Records). Born on April 6th in Murrieta, CA, and raised in Fallbrook, CA, the fifteen year old Native American/Italian/French singer, dancer and actress has appeared in Sear’s Back 2 School 2008 with Vanessa Hudgens, Macy’s Passport 2008 with the Jabbawockeez and has danced with world renowned choreographers Shane Sparks, Dave Scott, and Tabitha and Napolean to name a few.

Jacque Nimble began training in ballet and jazz at just five, but quickly moved onto hip hop, a style she found “more entertaining.” Inspired by artists such as Michael Jackson, Smokey Robinson, Diana Ross, Beyonce, Drake and Lil Wayne to name a few - Jacque’s natural rhythm allowed her to excel at hip hop dance. Moving with her older sister’s high school dance team, she sharpened her skills with girls twice her age and began auditioning for regular professional campaigns all over southern California.

Initially Jacque’s dreams were of acting and dancing, not singing - but her role as a School Gyrl granted her the opportunity to do all three. Never imagining herself part of an actual singing group, since her a focus at an early age was in dance training - she didn’t actually start singing professionally until she joined the School Gyrls. Her first time working with a professional vocal coach was during the recording of their self-titled debut album “School Gyrls.” Her natural singing talent, amazing dancing ability and chemistry with the other members made Jacque an obvious choice for the pop group.

With dreams of becoming an entertainment Lawyer as her “back-up” profession of choice, education is extremely important to Jacque, who’s currently a sophomore at a charter school called Options for Youth. She feels fortunate to be in a home school program that has an actual graduation and school dances, so she can continue her schooling on the road and still get all the best high school experiences.

Jacque has a love for animals, especially her teacup poodle Princess, enjoys roller and ice skating, swimming, hiking, going to church and loves to research her favorite artists and their music history.

You may recognize her as the adorable and talented background dancer in the Missy Elliott, Mase or Eminem music videos or from her various TV appearances on Nickelodeon, or even her ad campaigns for the Gap or Target; but if you don’t now her name already - you will soon. Monica Parales a.k.a. Mo Money is making a name for herself as part of the new teen girl group School Gyrls (Island Records).

Born and raised in Long Beach, CA, the sixteen year old began singing when she was only five years old, performing at family events and branching out to work with fellow Filipino artist Vina Morales, who was with a group called Jamm x Kids and Randy Jackson at the time.

Recognizing her immense natural talent and love for music, her family enrolled her in a music school to hone her skills. At the age of nine Monica’s music school made a pilot entitled “K’POW” utilizing its students as key players. An agent in the audience at the pilot screening spotted the star potential in Monica out of the group and began sending her out to auditions immediately.

After meeting with the agent, she began dance training at local studios, which eventually lead to her dancing with Team Millenium Juniors where she lead several dance workshops. Her bold stage presence and undeniable talent landed her gigs with Missy Elliott, Eminem, Mase, Alyson Atoner and Will Smith as well as granted her the opportunity to work with Shaun Evaristo, Mariel Martin and David Moore.

With the ability to express herself through music and song, and more than anything - the opportunity to put a smile on the faces of those she’s performing for, Monica has solidified her dreams of becoming a professional entertainer. Though music is her passion, she is enrolled in independent studies and knows that her education is a top priority.

Still dancing with Team Millenium Juniors occasionally, Monica’s main focus has been working as an active member of the School Gyrls. She enjoys photography, designing clothes, planning parties, hanging out with friends and cooking for her two older sisters in her spare time.
