说到德国的POP不能不提DIE PRINZEN。来自LEIPZIG的这四个曾经风华的小伙子让德国的民俗POP和ROCK名扬欧美音乐界。由于语言的原因他们无法象后来者一样为很多欧美迷所知，但是在德国本土，他们就是德国人的王子们，如同乐队本身的名字一般。
A German vocal group whose members formerly sang as part of the Thomanerchor, the choir of St. Thomas Church in Leipzig, Die Prinzen (The Princes) are known for their a cappella performances (although a good deal of their material also features instrumental backing), generally on clever songs with clearly satirical and often political lyrics. Formed in the early '90s, the group includes vocalists Tobias Künzel, Henn Schmidt, Sebastian Krumbiegel, Jens Sembdner, Wolfgang Lenk, drummer Ali Zierne, and bassist Matthias Dietrich, and they have continued to be an active concert and studio act into the new millennium.
