艺人介绍

by Ron WynnTenor saxophonist Bill Saxton's still developing an identity, mostly due to sparse recording opportunities and/or sessions. He first attracted attention recording and playing with Dannie Richmond in 1979, and has since worked with Charlie Persip's big band and Errol Parker. His playing has been strong and confident, but also essentially standard hard bop in a Wayne Shorter/John Coltrane mode. But since there's relatively little in the public domain, it's probably early to make any judgement. Saxton currently has no sessions available on CD.
