Floor Cry is the moniker of 20-year old musician Felicia Sekundiak from Winnipeg, Manitoba.

From a very young age Felicia found herself passionate about music and began taking guitar lessons, later teaching herself how to play the piano and ukulele. This led to recording covers on her bedroom floor at the age of 14. With the success of these covers on social media websites like Tumblr, Felicia began recording original songs.

Her EP ‘Fountainhead’ was released on July 2, 2015 and for held a spot for two weeks on the bandcamp best-selling list for dream pop music. Felicia’s vast list of influences including Fleet Foxes, Beach House, Sufjan Stevens and Youth Lagoon make for music that spans across many genres. While her music often encompasses many vocal harmonies, in a style reminiscent of folk music, it also encompasses heavy reverb and instrument effects similar to that of dream pop and lo-fi music. Felicia is currently an independent artist, and divides her time between attending the University of Manitoba and recording. She plans on releasing her first LP titled “Time” in Spring 2016.

The album spans away from the simplicity of “Fountainhead” but stays true to the signature sound that fans of Floor Cry have come to know.
