艺人介绍

by Heather PharesPortland, OR's Lion Fever features singer/guitarist Jennifer Pearl, bassist David Clifford, and drummer Kevin Garrison. In the summer of 2002, Clifford, who plays drums for Pleasure Forever and was formerly a drummer for the VSS, Slaves, and Jim Sclavunos & the Vanity Set, approached Pearl, formerly of the Lost Kids, about forming a band together. The pair drafted Garrison to play drums, Clifford took on the bass duties, and the newly christened Lion Fever began crafting a style incorporating blues, '60s garage, punkabilly, and other darkly powerful styles, with artists like PJ Harvey and the Gun Club among the band's chief influences. By 2003 they were in the studio recording their debut EP, Lustre, which was released by Dim Mak in early 2004.
