Dog Day是来自加拿大的哈利法克斯市，一个美丽温暖的城市。Dog Day 由4人组成，2男2女的搭配，现在看来加拿大还有澳洲这样的搭配还算是很常见的。
Halifax, Nova Scotia's Dog Day is a lo-fi indie pop quartet that signed on with the otherwise experimental German label Tomlab. The band started as a side project for couple Seth Smith (guitar, vocals) and Nancy Urich (bass, vocals), while the two were still members of the Burdocks. After finding satisfaction with an EP in 2005, they were joined by another couple, Casey Spidle (drums) and Crystal Thili (keyboard), who were members of hardcore punk band the Hold. They heard from Leon Taheny, who produced labelmate Final Fantasy, that Tomlab was looking for a new artist. The label agreed to issue the debut full-length Night Group in April 2007.
