Pamala Stanley (born July 16, 1952) is an American disco, Hi-NRG, club/dance and dance-pop singer from Norfolk, Virginia, United States. She scored many dance chart and dance radio hits from the late 1970s to the late 1980s. She is the sister of folk-pop recording artist and singer-songwriter James Lee Stanley.

Although Stanley was not a recognizable figure in either the urban or pop markets, she became and remains a highly respected and appreciated figure in the club/dance markets.

She first gained attention when the title track from her debut album, &This Is Hot&, was released in Germany and then throughout Europe. Signed to EMI America, she caught the attention of local Los Angeles nightclub DJs. Her album was remixed by DJ Rick Gianatos and &This Is Hot& shot up to #13 on the Billboard Dance charts. She toured extensively throughout the US, Canada, Mexico and South America. In 1983, she released her second song &I Don't Want To Talk About It&, written by her brother James Lee Stanley which also climbed to #13 on the Billboard Dance charts. She gained the most attention from the mainstream public for her massive 1984 Hi-NRG hit, &Coming Out Of Hiding&, released by TSR Records and also written by her brother James Lee Stanley.

After her 1986 hit, &If Looks Could Kill& (covered by Heart), and used in the Arnold Schwarzenegger film Raw Deal, she took time off from the dance market to explore other genres of music in jazz, blues and Broadway. She also had a son during this time.

In 2003, she released It's All In The Game, a collection of jazz classics from the 1920s, '30s and '40s. In 2006, she released a Broadway-themed CD of showtunes entitled This Is The Moment featuring her most requested songs from Broadway and some of her favorite show tunes. She also did a compilation CD/DVD called Looking Back the Disco Years, 15 songs she recorded from 1979–1989. The companion DVD has become a fan favorite.

One of her most popular performances as of late was at the 2006 White Party. Many of her live performances can be found on Facebook, YouTube and Myspace.

In 2007, Stanley released an album of original material, Seasons of My Heart. According to her website, this album of original material is less dance oriented, exploring mostly in the adult contemporary territory, with a little country and New Orleans jazz influence. One song from this album, (her recording of &Survive&) would be chosen as the theme for several Susan G Komen Race For The Cure events.

Stanley currently has residency at The Blue Moon in Rehoboth Beach, Delaware, Sunday through to Thursdays, from Memorial Day to mid-October throughout the Jazz Festival.

Stanley still tours regularly and has many projects in the works, as stated on her official site, and Myspace and Facebook pages. She tours extensively with many of the cruise ships and Atlantis Events.

Her current release is I Am There, a collection of inspirational Christian songs released in July 2009. Many of the songs are written by Pamala and her brother. This compilation was recorded by her and several members of her family in honor of her mother, Mary Stanley.

She is currently working on a new dance album with eight new tracks slated for release soon.
