Amongst the sun— the inspiration for this record came while winding up the verdant highways of the Canadian Shield. It was here that I realized how one must part with their familiar comforts in order to find growth. Whether reflecting on fond memories, or being hopeful for the future, these songs ultimately took me to the same destination. There is still much to learn, but for at least the moments on Faded Blue, I felt like I knew where I was heading...
