I can safely say it’s been an honour and a joy to have been asked to Produce and contribute to this album. It’s been so insightful to work so closely with Twink on what is a very intimate and stripped back album. Despite it being acoustic based Think Pink 3 ensures full psychedelic tendencies occur enough that takes this album way beyond any ‘unplugged’ album theme. I often had Steve Peregrin Took in mind whilst working on this album wondering ‘what would he do?’ at times. I wanted there to have some kind of reflection/connection to the playful spirit of the classic Think Pink 1 that he contributed to, amongst other great well-known players. Twinks authenticity as one of the pioneering artists on the first wave of 60’s British Psychedelia is all over this album. Only someone of those times I feel can write these songs and execute them in such a manner that they bare what is a true hallmark. One that is evocative and instantly recognisable geographically and historically as coming from British Psychedelia. There is real magic in there something that was evident at the sessions with awesome guitarist Andrew McCulloch and Matthew Abbott engineering whilst we ran about hitting and twanging things and moving mics around. Twink has been a big inspiration to me and I have learned so much from working with him which I cannot thank him for enough. His playful approach, artistry, true free spirit and energy impacts on everyone around him. I think Think Pink 3 radiates all of those things. I can’t wait for people to hear what a totally beautiful and journey bound album this is.....
