Malphino have adopted a primitive approach to this EP, influenced by south of the border rhythms, oriental orchestra melodies and Italian film soundtracks.
The EP features 6 songs of which 3 are original instrumentals.
Throughout the album, the rhythm section; percussion, acoustic guitar and a mad tuba keep the groove strong – while the accordion and organ confound with ‘tropical flower strewn’ riffs. The beautiful vocal tracks will hypnotize!
This is their first studio effort – recorded live to 2 track tape in Catapulte Records’s basement. A catchy hip shaking 10” that will keep your hips busy “hasta Lunes”!
