Just one week ago, industrial titans KMFDM released a new EP, YEAH ! Now, the band is announcing their newest full-length album HELL YEAH, which is about as perfect a name as you could ask for for a follow up release.
The album comes out Aug. 18 on earMUSIC, and will feature 13 tracks. HELL YEAH is the band’s 20th studio album, which is definitely something to yell “hell yeah” about. In addition, the band announced a fall U.S. tour that will run through October, which will put the songs in a new live context.
YEAH ! definitely gave a good insight to what the band will probably be bringing on this release. Their title track “HELL YEAH” already appeared on the EP, and featured blazing fast synthesizers mixed in with the metal the band is known for. It showed the group staying current with modern production uses, and displayed how well the band can balance dancey electronics with crushing metal.
