Stre4m: Formed by Conor O’Hanlon, Patrick Gordon and Scott McCulloch, STRE4M are an experimental performance group from Melbourne, Australia. Each performance transgresses genre and form, composed or improvised according to the space, blurring the line between experimental music and performance art. Since March 2012, the outfit have been performing prolifically in both notable gig venues and disused spaces around Melbourne. Performances have taken place at the likes of The Empress, John Curtin Bandroom, Bar Open, Reverence Hotel, Kent St, Gasometer Hotel; as well as pop-up shows in Footscray laundrettes, abandoned shopfronts, in the emergency stairwell to Kmart, car-parks, and other spaces. STRE4M have collaborated with international musicians, the homeless at the 101 drop-in centre in St Kilda and children with disabilities at Ascot Vale Special School. STRE4M have also composed experimental film, and were commissioned to create in-situ sound installations for Brunswick Railway Station by Metli
nk and artist Tobias Hengeveld. In January 2013, STRE4M contributed to the multimedia project ‘Phantoscopia’ as part of the Sugar Mountain Festival at The Forum Theatre
