這個夏天，來自廈門的 The White Tulips 用幾天的時間以他們的分軌錄音機錄制完成了新 EP 「Shonen SPA」，如今終於印制完成，也作為廣州琪琪音像的第三個發行 QSR-003 面世！來自 Amoy 帶著水珠的海風，直直往焗熱的廣州吹！

新 EP 全碟 5首，帶來與上一張充滿美式感覺的 EP 不同的 5 首無 b-side 新曲！單單說 shoegaze 已經不再能概括 The White Tulips 的音樂吧，充滿 lo-fi 顆粒感的盯鞋式噪音墻作為一些點綴，烘托起更多受到流行音樂影響的編排，這次錄音不單止有吉他手陳振超，貝斯手齊哥和鼓手牛奶這鐵三角陣容，更加入了剛成年的 Sax 手黃治昊，使用 casio tone 合成器的羅圈圈，乘著吉他貝斯鼓合奏出的浪花，把音樂帶往更 mellow 的海域。假如你在廈門看過 5 人版本的 TWT，與以往相比大幅提高的完成度和豐滿感，在音樂上的進取，讓人無法不感動！

The lo-fi/shoegaze trio The White Tulips from the seaside city Amoy released their whole new EP 「Shonen SPA」. Sea breeze with drops of salty water, blows straight from Amoy to everywhere this summer!

This time, the scene of The White Tulips' music could not be only generalized as shoegaze anymore. Shredding grainy lo-fi noises as embellishment, they layout more contrast from being influenced by various pop music. This record is not only recorded by the original members Soda Chen, Qi and Milk. Teamed up with the Sax player Huang Zhihao, the casiotone synthesizer player Luo QuanQuan, all together they gonna ride the waves to the mellow ocean.
