&Lookin Ass Nigga& (alternatively titled &Lookin Ass&) is a song written by Trinidadian-American recording artist Nicki Minaj and American music producer Detail. It was originally recorded by Minaj for the Young Money Entertainment compilation album Young Money: Rise of an Empire, and is also set to appear on her third studio album The Pink Print. The music video for the track was released on February 14, 2014. The track is a hip hop song, and was produced by Detail; its lyrics criticize stereotypical behaviors commonly associated with men.
&Lookin Ass Nigga& received mixed reviews from music critics, who complimented its overall production and lyrical content. Its cover also generated controversy for placing an image of the late activist Malcolm X, next to the derogatory term &nigga&. On March 11, 2014, &Lookin Ass Nigga& will be serviced to urban contemporary radio in the United States as Young Money: Rise of an Empire's third official single.
