Nobody knows the Great American Songbook quite like Tony Bennett -- who cemented his interpretive prowess by the early 50s and was still going steady (and strong) more than 50 years later. Although its a bit of a grab bag, this collection of standards collects some of his best, including plenty of highlights from his years recording for his own label, Improv which, during the 70s, contributed more than just a few great works to the canon of vocal jazz (some with the assistance of another standards powerhouse, pianist Bill Evans).
