When Nigel Kennedy picks up the violin, he combines the music world: first, he thrilled millions of classical music fans from around the world - on the other it is one at least as many jazz lovers to his admirers. In spring 2010, Nigel Kennedy is a double program on tour in 16 German cities: Bach meets Ellington both facets of the English violinist presented at the highest level. On the occasion of the tour is now issuing a new edition of Kennedy's most successful CD Bach with the Berlin Philharmonic from 2000. In the classical field-Kennedy is a friend of great romantic violin parts, but - and so he has become famous - with rapid works of the Baroque period. were followed up his success with Vivaldi in 2000, Johann Sebastian Bach. At that time, the great Baroque master was 250 years old, and the music world was curious about what Kennedy would make the tricky contrapuntal knitted concerts. It managed a perfect fusion of Vivaldi and sweeping drive with intelligent tuning gears. Together with the Berlin Philharmonic to know the two violin concertos and two double gigs a welcome makeover! At Kennedy's side play two prominent soloists: the violinist Daniel Stabrawa and the oboist Albrecht Mayer.
