Originally released by End in 1958, this fine reissue collects the Chantels' smash &Maybe,& along with their follow-up attempts to that hit. With Richard Barrett and George Goldner producing, they created a majestic sound with only spare instrumentation (usually piano, bass and drums) and the power of Arlene Smith's passionate voice.
