I wrote this song for my little white cat, Valerie.

We adopted her after visiting a local shelter, where she had been in for months without anyone taking her home. We think maybe because she's completely deaf, people didn't want her. Since that day, she's been by my side in the studio (fast asleep while the music is blaring). We love her very much.
