Shortly after some teasers, Fleet Foxes have officially announced their fourth album. The new record, called Shore, is out tomorrow (Tuesday, September 22) at 9:31 a.m. Eastern to coincide with the autumnal equinox. Along with the album, the band will release a 55-minute companion film, shot on Super 16mm and directed by Kersti Jan Werdal. It’ll be available to watch at fleetfoxes.co.
Shore arrives just three years after Fleet Foxes’ third album Crack-Up, which famously came six years after Helplessness Blues. Since sharing Crack-Up, Fleet Foxes released the archival box set First Collection 2006-2009.
