北极猴最终在2005年6月签约独立厂牌多米诺，乐队称多米诺老板劳伦斯贝尔只签他自己喜欢的乐队的作风让他们选择了这家乐厂。2005年10月17日， 北极猴发布了他们签约后的第一张单曲《I Bet You Look Good on the Dancefloor》，单曲一经推出便空降当周英国单曲榜榜首，击败罗宾威廉姆斯和甜心宝贝。
"I Bet You Look Good on the Dancefloor" is a song by English indie rock band Arctic Monkeys. The song was released as the band's first single from their debut album Whatever People Say I Am, That's What I'm Not after being signed to Domino Records. It debuted at Number One on the UK Singles Chart on 23 October 2005, and remains one of their best known songs. It was the first of two UK Number 1 singles for the band. They performed the track at the Opening Ceremony of The London 2012 Olympics.
