Veteran goth rockers Dreamside make their second attempt at American acceptance with Faery Child. During their initial attempts at reaching American goth audiences, the genre was in a low period and their sound did not appeal to the underground. Europe responded far more warmly, thus three albums were released overseas before they put together Faery Child, a compilation of the songs from these albums that represents their sound. Meant as a sampler for the States, the album features several tracks from each album, as well as remix tracks from Icon of Coil.
