The closest thing there is to a career retrospective so far for Bonnie Tyler, The Very Best of Bonnie Tyler encompasses the first three phases of her career: her country period with Ronnie Scott and Steve Wolfe, her bombastic period with Jim Steinman and Desmond Child, and her AOR period with Giorgio Moroder. For an overview of the first part of her career, this is an excellent choice — though it is still recommended that buying the original albums is the way to go, given Tyler's versatility. All in all, a great collection.
