On their fifth studio effort, Suspiria de Profundis, Die Form gets intimate with electronica. Phillipe Fichot and Eliane P's signature goth-like vocal chants are here as well as the passion behind Fichot's vivid lyrics, but the music gets technical. Die Form's artistic twist of industrial dance is stylish and campy on tracks like "Animalized" and "Automat 994," while "Chain Reaction" and "Mental Epidemic are more aggressive. Basically, Suspiria de Profundis is a chaotic fusion of Skinny Puppy meets Mediaeval Baebes.
