This time, the Scott Hansen-led collective brings a slightly darker, more energetic vibe to its music, with songs like "Division" riding a driving fuzz bass that adds an extra spark to the proceedings. Elsewhere, "Glider" and "Field" bookend the album with the hazy beauty fans have come to expect, while the title track manages to be both dreamy and propulsive, emphasizing just how far Tycho has come since the project's early days.
