Hi-Five is a melodic group filled with a mixture of soothing harmonies and soulful grooves, capable of enlightening the listener's day. With a recipe of easygoing percussion, ethereal keyboards, and dreamy vocals, Hi-Five possesses the perfect blend of soul and R&B. This is best experienced on drives to the beach, back-porch house parties, and nights in the city, dancing in the moonlight. Hi-Five is another easygoing-breed quintet with accompanying producers who also did work with Boys II Men, ever present during this era. "Come and fly with me with me, my love," the group expresses on "Fly Away," sending a message of a cry for freedom and love. Their radio hit single is an engaging jam in which the boys profess that "she's playing hard to get, and she likes me." "Quality Time" is another appealing tune filled with fresh harmonies overlaying a passionate melody. Hi-Five reminds the listener of what it felt like back in the day, reminiscing and realizing that everyone's "a little bit older now, a little bit wiser now." This record is an excellent look into early-'90s R&B.
