The title and cover art of the 1959 Cool Water LP were re-used for this very unfortunate CD reissue, on which only half of the original's songs were included, without any notes -- the compact disc was something of an insult to the intelligence of the modern listener, and doubly so when one considers that the complete LP made it on to CD (with audiophile sound, no less) in Germany just a few years later. What is here sounds good, but this compact disc is still an abomination.
