Skeleton Keys doesn't vary much from the polished, house-inspired drum'n'bass Rob Haigh has been engineering since the early '90s. Though his third proper album as Omni Trio features only one diva vocal (on &Red Rain&), all elements of the earlier albums are still in place -- vaguely familiar breaks, gradually tweaked and twisted beyond recognition, with infectious synth-work and an overall spartan production that leaves the listener craving just a bit more. All this familiarity is by no means bad, however, and the presence of a downtempo groove on the title track puts it all into focus.
