"You Got What It Takes" is not the old Marv Johnson song, but a new concoction that incorporates Thurston's nondescript tenor over a peppy disco-length track. "I Wanna Do It with You," supposedly about dancing, samples Thurston's lead on a pulsating track with nice changes; the female voices sing with vigor, and Rodney Brown's guitar solo and Al Johnson's maniacal keyboarding will have your ears ringing. Also includes the first-class booty song "I Want Your Body" and a pedestrian remake of Billy Stewart's "Sitting in the Park."
