This is a follow-up to the 1995 album In a Quiet Room. Most of the songs on this second-part offering are just as mellow as the ones on the first. There are a few bounces too, including background vocals done by artists Alison Krauss and Pam Tillis -- both very talented ladies of country who can sing like angels. You'll also hear plenty of acoustic guitar and great lyrics on this album. Songs like &Nights Are Forever Without You,& &Three Time Loser,& &We Are One,& and &Love on Arrival& kind of take fans back to earlier works by Dan Seals. In a Quiet Room II is one of those recordings that is perfect to accompany a lazy, relaxing afternoon when you want to just sit back, close your eyes, and let the music and its words and meanings flow over you.
