Go Sailor compiles three 7& releases and two compilation tracks by Rose Melberg's post-Tiger Trap (and post-Softies) project, Go Sailor. The band's sound is pretty much as one would expect from Melberg, taking the speedy jangle of Tiger Trap and lightening its sound with a more sweet, direct feel (in line with the Softies) -- the band and Melberg's songwriting are as keen as ever, and Go Sailor does nothing but deliver on the jangling four-chord structures and indie pop hooks her fans have come to expect (which may explain the album's release on the Southern California punk label Lookout).
